The Role

A new position has arisen for a Project Engagement Advisor to ensure effective communication between stakeholders, both internal and external.

This role involves developing and executing strategic communication plans, building positive relationships with stakeholders, and providing counsel on stakeholder engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement complex stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis to inform engagement plans and identify social impacts.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement strategies to foster positive relationships and collaboration.
  • Create comprehensive communication plans outlining targeted messages, channels, and timing for reaching different stakeholder groups.
  • Coordinate engagement events, develop content for communication channels, and facilitate stakeholder sessions and meetings.
  • Liaise with project staff to solve complex stakeholder-related issues.
  • Respond to enquiries and complaints in a timely manner while maintaining up-to-date stakeholder databases.
  • Establish metrics to assess the success of communication strategies and stakeholder engagement efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in stakeholder engagement, preferably within infrastructure, transport, or logistics sectors.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including strategy writing and delivery.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and leadership in a project environment.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders in sensitive environments.
