Job Title: Environmental Manager - Ringwood and Dandenong

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Manager to join our team in Ringwood and Dandenong. As an Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for leading and implementing environmental initiatives across the two sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

You will work closely with the Operations team to develop and implement strategies to reduce waste, minimize environmental impact, and promote sustainability. Your expertise in environmental management systems (EMS) will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and ensuring that our operations meet the highest environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental plans and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Lead and coach teams to adopt sustainable practices and minimize environmental impact
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on environmental performance and progress
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree qualified in an applicable Science or Engineering discipline
  • Significant experience in industry in the development and implementation of EMS/IMS
  • Strong knowledge of operational and manufacturing sites and leadership experience in CPG/FMCG industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels
