Job Title

The Senior Electrical Power Engineer will lead teams for power generation design projects, including traditional Owner's Engineering roles. This includes developing designs for new power plants and upgrading existing infrastructure to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program with an Electrical Power emphasis required.
  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems Engineering with an Electrical Power emphasis highly desired.
  • A minimum of 15 years experience in electrical power generation design is necessary.
  • Experience with simple cycle and combined cycle power generation is essential.

The ideal candidate should have experience within the utility scale power and renewable energy industry and be capable of leading teams for power generation design projects, including supporting in a traditional Owner's Engineering role. Additionally, this individual must be capable of mentoring young engineers and managing client relationships effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage engineering professionals on various projects.
  • Develop marketing materials such as proposals and work breakdown structures.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support team leadership activities.
Requirements:
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Have at least 10 years of experience in project execution.
  • Hold a Professional Engineers license (PE or P.Eng).
  • Extensive experience in the Power Market Sector is required.
