Are you a passionate Science educator seeking a new challenge in 2025? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our academic team as a Science Teacher.

This is a permanent, full-time role that will see you teaching Science to Years 7 to 10. However, the ability to teach Senior Biology and/or Senior Psychology will be looked upon favourably.

You will work alongside a dedicated and energetic team committed to excellence and the provision of an effective teaching and learning environment for students. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality Science programs within the Australian curriculum and QCAA Senior syllabi
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs
  • Maintaining accurate records and monitoring student progress through data analysis
  • Providing support and guidance to students to enhance their confidence and self-esteem

As a successful Science Teacher, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication and organisational abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in teaching Science to middle and senior school levels within the Australian curriculum and QCAA Senior syllabi
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver comprehensive Science programs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with students and colleagues
  • Ability to participate in grounds' supervision on a regular basis
  • Eligibility to work in Australia with relevant teaching qualifications and current registration, or eligibility for registration
