Key Role in Civil Landscaping

This is a critical opportunity for a career-driven individual to take on new challenges and step up in their profession.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience as a Landscape Leading Hand or similar role, with a deep understanding of QLD Main Roads (MRTS16) landscape specification. They will be highly motivated, skilled in problem-solving and communication, and physically fit to perform outdoor tasks in all weather conditions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily site work and lead a small team
  • Read plans and set out planting, turf, soil, mulch, and irrigation systems
  • Liaise with site supervisors, engineers, and clients to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Assist physically with shovelling, raking, and finishing works
  • Maintain safety compliance, including WH&S documentation

The ideal candidate will also possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate adaptability and resilience in fast-paced situations.

We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $77,500–$87,500 + super, depending on experience
  • A full-time permanent role with a secure project pipeline
  • Weekly rosters issued every Thursday
  • Travel and living away allowance (if required)
  • Night rates and site-specific penalties as per project agreements
  • Uniforms and PPE supplied (BYO long pants and safety boots)
  • All tools provided
  • Ute provided after 6-month probation for work use only
