
Federal Judicial Coordinator Role

As a Judicial Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating judge duty and leave arrangements across all registries of the Federal Court. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a meaningful contribution to the justice system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and publish duty rosters, taking into account parity of duty, judge commitments, and preferences.
- Manage conflicts, unavailability, and capacity issues promptly.
- Organize registrar resources and varied duty schedules for Judges' Meetings.
- Collaborate with staff and the profession on duty-related matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Understanding of the jurisdiction, practices, and procedures of the Court.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage confidently with Judges.
- Accurate and meticulous in managing multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Analytical skills to evaluate large volumes of information quickly and make informed decisions.
- Competent in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed.
Eligibility:
Australian citizenship and security clearance are mandatory requirements.
