Procurement Manager Job

We are seeking a skilled procurement manager to lead and support shareholder assurance, project delivery due diligence for a major energy company in partnership with a leading global player on Project Cronus in Japan. This may expand to other projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the JV procurement manager in developing and delivering projects aligned with our objectives.
  • Evaluate offshore wind supply chain maturity, identify opportunities for local supplier development, and assess project viability.
  • Develop market intelligence on global offshore wind markets, understanding supply base dynamics and vulnerabilities in Aspac.
  • Evaluate and recommend contracting models for offshore wind projects, explaining key contract clauses to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to develop wind-related procurement strategies for critical subcategory areas, such as vessels and foundations.
Key Requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant field, such as business or engineering.
  • Strong commercial mindset with excellent analytical skills, confident negotiation experience, and ability to identify value drivers.
  • Passion for developing low-carbon renewable solutions and enthusiasm for procurement's influence on this growth area.
  • Ability to travel when needed and work in an agile environment.
