Job Role

The University of Sydney Law School is seeking a Manager, Operations and Executive Services to join its Senior Operations team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the Dean's Unit team in delivering high-quality day-to-day operational and administrative services across the school.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of service models focusing on executive support communications governance and operational excellence.
  • Lead communication strategies optimize internal platforms and drive adoption of digital tools to enhance engagement and efficiency.
  • Provide strategic advice and operational oversight to support the implementation of key school-wide strategies and initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration Public Policy Communications or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in managing operations executive services or governance within complex organizations such as universities the public sector or large corporates.
  • Demonstrated leadership of professional teams including responsibility for performance management and service delivery outcomes.
  • Proficiency in enterprise systems including Microsoft 365 SharePoint and content management platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities across organizational units coupled with a sound understanding of digital transformation and the adoption of workplace technologies.

This role requires strong organizational leadership and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering operational and administrative services in a complex organization.
