Fire Services Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Fire Services Technician. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of fire suppression systems on our mining fleet.

In this role, you will work closely with our site personnel to maintain high standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced technician who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you have a strong background in fire protection and inspection, we want to hear from you.

About the Role
  • Maintain fire suppression systems to the highest standard.
  • Work across multiple sites, providing consistent quality work.
  • Make recommendations for maintenance improvements.
  • Stay updated with technical and product changes.
  • Perform adhoc inspections and repairs during spare time on site.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate 2 in Fire protection Inspection and Testing
  • A current driver's licence (Standard 11 certification is desirable).
  • A proactive attitude toward safety and a commitment to fostering a positive safety culture.
  • Effective communication with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and internal personnel.
  • Responsible operation of a company vehicle on public roads.
