We are seeking a skilled Fire Suppression Technician to join our team in the CQ Coalfields region. As a Fire Suppression Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintenance of fire protection systems and equipment, delivering excellence in customer service.
You will work in various locations including Moranbah, Emerald or Blackwater, and will be required to manage available time and resources effectively, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, with direct knowledge and exposure to fire suppression systems. Installation and service experience of Mobile Fire Suppression systems is highly regarded.
Achieving full compliance to service delivery and procedural requirements is essential, as well as surveying customer machines and recommending fire protection and safety systems and equipment.
Requirements- Direct knowledge and exposure to fire suppression systems
- Installation and service experience of Mobile Fire Suppression systems (a distinct advantage)
- Effectively manage available time and resources and be proactive in problem solving and troubleshooting
- Achieve full compliance to service delivery and procedural requirements, including quality, EH&S, Ethics and Trade practices
- Survey customer machines and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment
- Identify, service, and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance with guidelines
- Report work progress and performance by completing productivity and key performance indicator reports
- Ongoing permanent, full-time employment
- Toil of trade vehicle, LAFHA and overtime component on top of EBA wage
- Ongoing specialized training with Chubb's suppression systems
