Job Opportunity: Diesel Mechanic

Fuse Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and expertise in diesel engine systems.

Compensation: $65 per hour + Superannuation (includes loading)

Overtime and Shifts: Overtime is available daily and on Saturdays. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with afternoon shifts from 12:00pm to 8:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conducting thorough diagnostics to identify issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components.
  2. Performing repairs and replacements on diesel engines, fuel systems, brakes, and electrical systems.
  3. Carrying out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
  4. Troubleshooting complex mechanical problems and developing effective solutions.
  5. Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
  2. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  3. Knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Flexibility to work afternoon shifts.
