About the Role

We are seeking skilled Diesel Mechanic professionals to join our team at Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair, maintain, and service key CAT machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

  • Perform diagnostic assessments on mining and general construction equipment to identify and resolve technical issues.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and customers through effective communication and customer service skills.

  • Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to workplace health and safety standards and participating in safety initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Fitting or a similar field.

  • Diagnostic skills to ensure a fault/issue is identified to its root cause before parts replacement.
