Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lifeguard and Swim Teacher to join our team at Victoria Health Club in St. Kilda. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our patrons and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment around our pools. As a Swim Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach effective swimming and water safety skills to our members, helping to grow our swim program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of patrons and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment around our pools
  • Teach effective swimming and water safety skills to our members
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve our goals and objectives
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and management
  • Meet the requirements of our certification and training programs

Requirements:

  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Current Swim Teacher Certificate
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
