Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect Specialist to design and develop next-generation data platforms and pipeline solutions.

The successful candidate will have strong core development capabilities, enabling them to build scalable integrations and backend services. They will be responsible for applying modern coding standards to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions that address core business needs and reduce risk.

  • Create efficient data lake frameworks using Scala, PySpark or Python, ensuring robust data quality and security controls.
  • Develop reusable libraries and config-driven pipelines for enterprise-wide ingestion and integration.
  • Transform and process source data into data products, enabling egression to other platforms.

This role involves designing and developing data platforms and pipeline solutions, collaborating with engineering peers, and applying modern coding standards to deliver high-quality solutions.

Candidates will be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data governance and security standards using tools like AWS DataZone, Lake Formation, AWS Glue, and MWAA.

The ideal candidate will have experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and automated deployment pipelines. Exposure to AI/ML technologies, including the ability to integrate or leverage AI models to enhance data processing, automation, or system intelligence, is also preferred.

Demonstrable experience in Python, SQL, Spark, and Scala for distributed data processing, as well as exposure to AWS Marketplace, API Gateway, and data monetization strategies, is required.
