Job Title: Senior Financial Planner

We are seeking an experienced finance professional with a strong background in budgeting and planning to support our business in Oceania as a Senior Financial Planner. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will work closely with regional teams to prepare and provide financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans for assigned functions and/or Maisons in Australia & New Zealand.

Budgeting and Planning
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive planning calendars, drive budgeting processes, and provide detailed analyses.
  • Analyze and review assumptions with local function management throughout the process.
  • Prepare accurate and timely budgeting, monthly rolling, quarterly, and year-to-go forecasting processes.
Commercial Support and Analysis
  • Manage monthly performance reporting processes for assigned functions to ensure data integrity, quality analysis, and commentaries.
  • Maintain relationships with functions to capture financials on time, according to business activities.
  • Prepare monthly and year-end reports for function management review and initiate regular discussion meetings.
Strategic Investment Planning/Business Support
  • Evaluate new ventures for boutiques/offices, assessing investment/divestment projects with 5-year plans, risk/opportunity assessments, and break-even analyses.
  • Drive and lead financial projects and initiatives, ensuring financial visibility and controls.
  • Monitor actual costs of investment projects versus approved plans.
Corporate Compliance
  • Ensure IAS/IFRS compliance, including year-end stock takes when required.
  • Work closely with internal controls team to maintain function's adherence to internal control requirements.
