Specialist Out-of-School Hours Care Program Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to lead our outside school hours care service at Nelson Park School in a specialist school setting.

This role is part of the Victorian Government's High Intensity OSHC initiative, providing fully funded services with a high staff-to-child ratio to meet the needs of each participant (approximately 1 educator for every 2 children).

About the Role

Our ideal candidate will have experience in leading teams and supporting local families by providing quality before and after school care and holiday programs for their child in a specialist school setting.

  • Lead and support a team to deliver quality child-focused programs for school-aged children in a specialist school setting.
  • Plan and prepare programs that cater to every child's individual needs through a high staff-to-student ratio (1:2, 1:1, 2:1).
  • Foster a positive team culture through coaching, training, and reflective practice.
  • Liaise with families, school teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure individualised care.
Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Rostering for your service with support from an Area Manager.
  • Managing compliance documents and other administrative tasks.
