Section Waiter Job Description\

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Section Waiter to join our team at a vibrant, 130-capacity restaurant.

\

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. They should also have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to build strong relationships with customers.

  • Key Responsibilities:\
  • Manage your section during service, ensuring a positive guest experience and efficient table management.\
  • Prepare the restaurant for service, restocking and cleaning your section to ensure seamless execution.\
  • Take accurate customer orders, checking for dietary requirements and preferences.\
  • Maintain open communication with FOH & BOH teams to streamline service and ensure exceptional customer service.\
  • Provide personalized menu recommendations and explain our food philosophy to guests.\
  • Check bill accuracy and presentation before presenting to guests.\
  • Process cash and card payments efficiently and accurately.\\
  • Requirements:\
  • Australian working rights and current NSW RSA Certificate.\
  • Fluent English language skills.\
  • Minimum 2 years' premium dining experience as a section waiter.\
  • Excellent memory for faces and ability to create rapport with customers.\
  • Prior experience using POS systems for order taking.\
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work well in a team environment.\
  • Excellent attention to detail and grooming standards.\
