Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial/Commercial Analyst to support the build, operation and maintenance of large scale batteries in a dynamic environment that supports innovation, collaboration and growth.

  • Develop and enhance financial models for corporate and project finance.
  • Provide commercial analysis for business cases, including scenario and risk assessments.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial risk management.
  • Deliver insights through presentations, reports and decision-making tools.
  • Monitor performance against plans and milestones, identifying key drivers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure aligned outcomes.
  • Evaluate bids, tenders and proposals with a commercial lens.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and tighter financial controls.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, economics or a related field and 3–5 years' experience in financial/commercial analysis, ideally in energy, infrastructure or renewables. Experience with complex contracts, such as offtake agreements or renewable energy power purchase agreements, is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess advanced capabilities in Excel and financial modelling, strong understanding of valuation techniques and scenario analysis, experience in planning, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, knowledge of the National Electricity Market (NEM) and energy regulation, and familiarity with complex regulatory and competitive environments.
