  • A highly skilled Senior Financial/Commercial Analyst is required to support a new business unit that will build, operate and maintain large scale batteries.

We are looking for someone with strong financial modelling skills, experience in complex contracts and a passion for the energy sector. As a leader in energy distribution, we service Sydney, the Hunter and Central Coast, delivering safe and reliable electricity to more than 1.8 million homes and businesses – that's over 4 million Australians relying on us every day.

  • Your new role would be based in the heart of Sydney's Tech Central precinct at our modern office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance financial models for corporate and project finance.
  • Provide commercial analysis for business cases, including scenario and risk assessments.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial risk management.
  • Deliver insights through presentations, reports, and decision-making tools.
  • Monitor performance against plans and milestones, identifying key drivers.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, economics or related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience in financial/commercial analysis, ideally in energy, infrastructure or renewables.
  • Experience with complex contracts for infrastructure including offtake agreements or renewable energy power purchase agreements (PPAs).
