As a Graduate Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the care and well-being of our residents. This role offers a comprehensive learning experience, where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of clinical care, including dementia, falls management, wound care, continence management, palliative care, and more.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide services designed to promote healthy living, choice, and independence
- Undertake assessments, develop, and document care plans that cater to individual needs
- Facilitate case conferences with residents and their families to ensure effective communication and collaborative care
- Manage medications effectively to maintain resident safety and well-being
- Analyze monthly clinical indicators to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to the Director of Care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support quality care
- Deliver care in accordance with the needs, goals, and preferences of each resident
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience in residential aged care nursing, particularly in clinical assessments, care planning, clinical indicator analysis, and medication management
- Ability to deliver clinical training through toolbox talks and undertake competency assessment to enhance team skills
- Able to work independently and professionally with limited supervision while maintaining high-quality care standards
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the multi-skilled team environment
