Job Title: Cyber Security Architect

A key requirement for this role is a deep understanding of information security architecture principles and practices. As an experienced information security specialist, you will be responsible for providing secure by design information security architecture services to support the delivery of ICT services in line with the department's international mission objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and refine the enterprise security architecture framework and services catalogue.
  2. Engage with stakeholders on cyber security architecture activities, including the development and refinement of security architecture patterns.
  3. Provide expert risk, assurance, and compliance advice to ensure key risks and compliance obligations are adequately managed.
  4. Represent the organization at technical committee and advisory board meetings, providing expert security architecture advice to facilitate the secure delivery of ICT services.
  5. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the division, department, and portfolio.
  6. Assist with managing competing priorities, delivering outcomes in line with the department's cyber security strategy, ICT business plan, and departmental mission objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of information security architecture principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in developing and refining security architecture frameworks and services catalogues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to provide expert risk, assurance, and compliance advice.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
