About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mammographer to join our team at Grampians Health. As a Mammographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality breast imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform screening mammography, stereotactic breast biopsies, and hookwire localizations as required.
  • Meet the eligibility criteria for the Certificate of Mammography Practice (CMP) by performing mammography for a minimum of 150 hours per year.
  • Produce high-quality images in line with the PGMI guidelines and Volpara standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance activities related to mammography.
Requirements:
  • Medical Radiation Technologists Board of Victoria Licence.
  • Hold or be working towards the Certificate of Mammography Practice (CMP).
  • High-level organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and with flexibility.
  • High-level interpersonal, communication, and counseling/supportive care skills.
  • High-level clinical ability, demonstrating evidence-based best practice.
