About the Company
Our client is a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing facility that provides contract manufacturing services. They are supported by a successful national pharmaceutical parent company, with multiple organisations under their umbrella.
About the Role
As a production planner and scheduler, your main responsibility will be to create and maintain a master production schedule that will form the basis for the supply chain operations. You will forecast from 0 to 24 months, working closely with the manufacturing plant.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess changes in product demand
- Be able to adapt production plans quickly and accordingly
- Drive efficiency and accuracy in the planning process
- Work closely with cross-functional teams
- Identify potential supply chain issues
- Be able to resolve issues proactively
- Escalate critical matters when necessary
- Collaborate with various teams to optimize inventory levels while meeting customer service objectives
About You
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry
- Tertiary qualification in supply chain or APICS certification would be an advantage
- High level of proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment
- Be able to work independently, adapt, and learn quickly
- Start-up environment, so be able to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
