About the Role

The Production Planner and Scheduler will be responsible for creating and maintaining a master production schedule that forms the basis for supply chain operations. This role requires forecasting from 0 to 24 months, working closely with the manufacturing plant to ensure efficient and accurate planning processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess changes in product demand
  • Adapt production plans quickly and accordingly
  • Drive efficiency and accuracy in the planning process
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Identify potential supply chain issues
  • Resolve issues proactively
  • Escalate critical matters when necessary
  • Collaborate with various teams to optimize inventory levels while meeting customer service objectives

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry
  • Tertiary qualification in supply chain or APICS certification would be an advantage
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment
  • Ability to work independently, adapt, and learn quickly
  • Start-up environment, so be able to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
