About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Healthcare Professional to join our team at APM. As an Allied Health Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to develop and extend your clinical practice in a friendly, well-supported team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support families to implement supportive strategies into their everyday lives;
- Coach and support families, group programs, and individual therapy, linking families with community supports, as well as supporting families and therapists with administrative tasks;
- Work closely with key stakeholders and ensure ongoing communication, leadership, and support are provided to deliver quality services and supports;
- Ensure a focus on continuous improvement through regular evaluation, training, and review;
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
- Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and their families;
- No qualification is required, however, experience with children and families with additional needs (including lived experience) is essential;
- Working towards a relevant Allied Health qualification;
- Knowledge of the NDIS is highly desirable;
- Strong communication and organisational skills;
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and ability to work autonomously in the community;
- Compliance – Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, and First Aid certificate.
