Campaigns Manager Position

This is a key role within our team, responsible for managing various campaigns and initiatives to contribute to the health and wellbeing of Australians.

The ideal candidate will have strong communications experience, preferably in a government environment, along with tertiary qualifications in strategic communications or a related field.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Campaign Development and Implementation: Developing, implementing, and evaluating effective communication strategies to achieve objectives.
  • Financial Management: Overseeing financial and procurement processes where required.
  • Liaising with External Suppliers: Liaising with external suppliers to deliver strategies.
  • Strategy Approval: Preparing submissions for campaign approval by Executive, Ministers, and government committees.
  • Timeline Management: Managing strategy implementation timelines to ensure risks are managed.
  • Team Supervision: Supervising and developing subordinate staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience within Federal Government campaign/advertising/marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proven experience in developing marketing products.
  • Ability to manage and work in teams, including developing capabilities and managing workloads.
  • Success in influencing and negotiating positive outcomes with stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and work flexibly across projects to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in procurement and contract management of communication activities.
  • Understanding and compliance with Guidelines on Information and Advertising Campaigns by non-corporate Commonwealth entities.
  • A communication degree or significant related experience.
