Senior Systems Engineer

Talent International is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network architecture to support business growth and scalability
  • Manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of new applications and services
  • Provide Level 3 support and troubleshooting for Windows and Linux environments
  • Develop and implement scripts using Powershell or Shell to automate tasks and improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or related field, coupled with relevant industry certifications (ITIL, MCP, AWS, Juniper etc)
  • Demonstrated Systems Administration / System Engineering experience
  • Proven experience working within Financial Service environments
  • Strong experience and knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN / WAN, routing / switching, load balancers, firewalls etc)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting, troubleshooting and configuring Windows and Linux environments
  • Solid exposure with AWS along with hands-on experience with either Terraform, Docker or Hashicorp
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Superior customer service and team work skills
