Salary & BenefitsThe hourly rate for this role is $32.20, and we offer attractive salary packaging options up to $15,900 per year tax-free, as well as an additional $2,650 for Meals and Entertainment.
Job DescriptionThis Care Professional will support seniors and NDIS customers to remain in their homes by providing tailored person-centered services and activities of their choice. The role is based in Joondalup and surrounding areas, and you will work alongside customers with varying support needs to deliver high-quality care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing domestic assistance services to customers
- Working independently, as well as part of a team, to achieve customer outcomes
- Using great communication skills to interact with a diverse range of customers, their families, carers, community agencies, and other professionals
- Maintaining professional boundaries and respecting customer confidentiality and privacy
You will also have the opportunity to engage with customers and promote their independence, enabling them to live the life they choose.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certificate III Individual Support – Aged Care or Disability, or other relevant qualification and/or experience
- Experience working with seniors, people on the mental health recovery journey, and those living with disability
- A reliable and roadworthy motor vehicle to travel to customers' homes and assist them to access the community
- Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance and registration
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one prior to commencing employment)
- Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willing to apply)
