Industry Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Industry Engagement Specialist to work with local employers and find innovative ways to support job-ready clients into sustainable employment.

  • This is an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven sales/business development professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people facing barriers to employment.
  • You will be responsible for establishing long-term connections with local businesses, organisations, and jobseekers, leveraging your exceptional networking and rapport-building skills.
  • A key aspect of this role is identifying and creating sustainable vacancies for clients, demonstrating qualities of resilience, empathy, integrity, and compassion.

In addition to your professional skills, you will need to possess excellent time management and organisational ability, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.

About the Organisation:

We partner with Community Services organisations to conduct executive search and selection campaigns that identify Australia's best talent across various markets.

About the Role:

As an Industry Engagement Specialist, you will primarily focus on working with local employers to find innovative solutions to support job-ready clients. Your polished influencing and relationship-building skills will enable you to establish lasting connections with local businesses, organisations, and jobseekers.

This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced sales/business development professional to make a real difference in the lives of people facing employment barriers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional networking and rapport-building skills

  • Ability to think outside the box when identifying or creating sustainable vacancies for clients

  • Good understanding of local labour market issues
  • Excellent time management and organisational ability
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Driving licence and willingness to travel locally
  • Ability to obtain a current clear Police Check and Working with Children Check
