Business Development Manager – Australasia

Job Summary:

Our client is a global leader in premium drilling consumables, with world-wide manufacturing facilities, sales and service offices in multiple countries, and distribution spanning over 100 markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sustainable sales growth across the region by building strong relationships with key accounts and identifying new business opportunities within mining, tunnelling and contracting sectors.
  • Develop and manage sales strategy and execution across Australasia, including developing and managing key customer relationships, expanding distributor networks, and leading business development initiatives.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts across Australasia, identify and convert new business opportunities in mining, tunnelling, and contractor markets.
  • Coordinate with international manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure customer requirements are met, provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management.
  • Support tendering and procurement processes to ensure commercially competitive outcomes, represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.

Requirements:

  • Proven success in a Sales Manager role within drilling consumables or related industries, established network of industry contacts across mining, tunnelling and contracting.
  • Strong commercial understanding of pricing, costing, negotiation and contract terms, demonstrated ability to deliver new business.
