Mental Health Consumer Peer Support Worker

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team and provide peer support services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
- This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting people to achieve their goals and improve their overall wellbeing.
- The Support Worker will work collaboratively with clients, clinicians and community members to provide person-centred support and connect individuals with relevant services and resources.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualised support to clients, including advocacy, education and practical assistance.
- Collaborating with clinical teams to develop and implement client care plans.
- Representing the views of consumers in policy development and committee activities.
Requirements for the role include:
- Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or willingness and commitment to obtain.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with ability to coordinate group activities and meet deadlines.
