Job Overview:


This role involves working as a Visiting Medical Officer, providing comprehensive clinical care in emergency and non-emergency situations. The successful applicant will be responsible for working closely with the Clinical Director of Medicine, the Network Director for Emergency Medicine, and the Director of Medical Services.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality patient care in emergency and non-emergency settings
  • Supporting educational initiatives within the network and the GP Training Hub
  • Being an admitting medical officer for inpatients in acute and long-stay wards

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.


The position requires compliance with NSW Health policy, including occupational assessment screening and vaccination requirements.
