We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality financial outcomes and thrive in a collaborative environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing financial information, preparing financial reports, and providing advice on various tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed;
  • Applying knowledge of the business environment within which the client is operating and how the client is positioned in the industry;
  • Mentoring graduates and assisting with work, acting as a buddy and providing guidance and support;
  • Preparing financial statements in accordance with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards;
  • Preparing documents for client meetings with Partner;
  • Identifying, researching and resolving complex accounting issues;
  • Preparing and analysing management accounting reports;
  • Preparing income tax returns;
  • Providing advice in relation to various tax matters including GST, capital gains tax and fringe benefits tax;
  • Providing general business advisory advice and support to a wide range of client groups.
