The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD & CNC programming modeling. A recognized tertiary qualification in patternmaking, machining, or CNC programming is required. Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices, mechanical design principles, and timber construction methods is essential. The ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems is also crucial.

Weir offers a competitive salary of $95,000 - $125,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a member of our team, you will be empowered to grow your own way and take on new challenges. As a talented individual, you will be responsible for creating new 3D pattern and corebox CAD models, generating G-code programs for CNC router machining, and designing timber preform templates. Additionally, you will mentor our patternmakers and apprentices in CAD modeling and CNC programming to ensure knowledge sharing at shop floor level.
