CAM Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced CAM Supervisor to lead our team of CAM Programmers at ResMed Inc. This role is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

1. Supervise & Lead: Manage and mentor a team of CAM Programmers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and safely.
2. Manufacturing Strategy: Collaborate with the Manufacturing Manager and CNC Supervisor to develop and execute programming strategies for our 3 and 5-axis milling machines, CMM, and other CNC processes.
3. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements, working towards cost reductions and improved manufacturing efficiency.
4. Schedule Management: Oversee programming task schedules, manage work orders, and ensure timely project completion to meet CNC start targets.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with the CNC Team Lead and Tool Design Manager to define project requirements and optimize manufacturing strategies for new tooling projects.
6. Quality & Safety: Ensure all programming and machining processes adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
7. Team Development: Promote a cross-skilled and adaptable workforce, encouraging continuous development and collaboration within the team.
8. Recruitment & Growth: Assist the Manufacturing Manager in recruiting new CAM Programmers to support team growth and future project needs.

1. Strong experience in CAM programming and CNC machining processes, ideally with 3 and 5-axis milling machines.
2. Proven leadership skills, with a focus on team development and cross-skilling.
3. Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
4. A strong commitment to quality control, safety, and continuous improvement.
5. Experience in managing schedules and ensuring timely project completion.
