About This Role

Experience-driven project engineers are sought after to manage the technical and administrative aspects of projects. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient delivery in compliance with client requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Compliance with safety policies, risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety across all project teams is essential.
  • Technical guidance and support will be provided throughout the project lifecycle, from planning to testing and delivery.
  • Collaboration with project teams to meet project milestones, manage schedules, and handle client-submitted materials is vital.
  • Assisting in preparing and reviewing inspection test plans and associated project procedures.
  • Ensuring quality management systems compliance and client requirements adherence.
  • Supporting procurement and subcontractor management processes.
  • Maintaining effective communication with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders through report preparation and documentation.
  • SITE INDUCTION AND TEAM DEVELOPMENT THROUGH LEARNING INITIATIVES.
  • Driving continuous improvement in processes and maintaining industry best practices compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience, including at least 3 years in a project engineering capacity within the construction industry.
  • Expertise in AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 60079 standards.
  • Strong project management knowledge with proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, along with resilience, conflict resolution, and negotiation capabilities.
