About This Opportunity

Contribute to the delivery of a landmark infrastructure project, shaping Brisbane's future. As a Governance Expert, you will provide high-level governance and secretariat support to senior forums, ensuring effective decision-making.

This role offers a unique chance to contribute to region-changing projects and leave a lasting legacy. You will play a key part in supporting senior decision-making, providing governance and secretariat services, and contributing to strengthening governance frameworks.

The Role In Brief
  • Provide governance and secretariat support to senior forums
  • Prepare and deliver meeting packs, including agendas, briefing notes, papers, minutes, actions, memoranda, submissions, and presentations
  • Coordinate governance reporting requirements, collating and distributing reports, briefings, presentations, and information papers with accuracy
  • Maintain governance registers, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Support the development, review, and improvement of governance frameworks
About You
  • Demonstrated experience providing secretariat support to senior governance forums
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance processes, frameworks, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare documentation tailored to different audiences
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and SharePoint
