The role involves working closely with solicitors in preparing and managing cases, including estate administration, probate, and complex estate disputes.

Job Description
  • Preparation of wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
  • Estate administration and preparation of administration and probate
  • Complex estate disputes, including challenging the will and family provision
  • Estate planning/trusts/administration

Detailed Job Responsibilities:

  • Will Drafting: Prepare comprehensive wills that meet clients' needs, including testamentary trusts and enduring powers of attorney.
  • Estate Administration: Manage estate administration, including preparing and lodging documents for probate, and distributing assets according to clients' wishes.
  • Dispute Resolution: Represent clients in complex estate disputes, including contested wills and family provision claims.
  • Estate Planning: Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including the creation of trusts and administration of estates.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
  • Strong drafting and technical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently within a team-focused environment
