Job Description:

School Psychologists play a vital role in the Department of Education, working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to provide psychological services to students.

They engage with students individually and in groups, implementing appropriate therapeutic interventions based on their training, experience, and supervision.

As a School Psychologist, you will work closely with school staff and other agencies to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.

Key responsibilities include providing counselling services, administering cognitive and social-emotional assessments, and collaborating with learning teams to develop support plans for students.

Requirements:
  • General or Provisional Psychology Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Valid and current Working with Children Check clearance
  • Current and valid driver's licence and ability and willingness to travel between work sites
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
