General Anaesthetist Opportunity in Melbourne's East

We are seeking an experienced General Anaesthetist to join our team at a highly regarded, purpose-built facility in Melbourne's east. This is an excellent opportunity for an anaesthetist to work alongside a skilled procedural GP in privately billed minor cosmetic procedures.

The ideal candidate will have experience in airway management and sedation, as well as prior knowledge of general anaesthesia. They will also possess great IV skills and ECG interpretation knowledge.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients undergoing minor cosmetic procedures
  • Working closely with a skilled procedural GP to ensure seamless treatment delivery
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to maintain expertise in airway management and sedation

Requirements:

  • Consultant Anaesthetist with FANZCA or GP/Anaesthetist with JCCA qualification
  • Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
  • Experience in propofol use and similar agents
  • Knowledge of ECG interpretation
  • Great IV skills
