Active Care Specialist

Sonder's mission is to create a culture of Active Care, where individuals can receive immediate support from a team of safety, medical, and mental health professionals. We're seeking experienced individuals who share our vision to join our Response Network as Active Care Specialists.

You'll work with a flexible, 24-hour on-call roster, providing in-person support to those in need. Your role will involve:

  • Conducting stakeholder engagement to support Sonder's business and operational outputs
  • Nurturing partnership relations, engagement, and training
  • Providing input to operational procedures and network management
  • Conducting emergency and non-emergency support responses as required

We're looking for individuals with recent or current experience in emergency services, military, and/or security-related work, along with a strong network of contacts in the local area. Key skills include self-awareness, motivation, and self-management, as well as the ability to set priorities, act on key issues, and make quick decisions while displaying interpersonal sensitivity.

This is an exciting opportunity to build and expand the network in Australia from the ground level. As an Active Care Specialist, you'll have the chance to make a real difference in people's lives while being part of a dynamic and growing organization.

About You
  • Recent or current experience in Australia within emergency services, military, and/or security-related work
  • Strong network of contacts in the local area
  • High level of self-awareness, motivation, and self-management
  • Ability to set priorities, act on key issues, and make quick decisions
