Global Supply Chain Leadership Opportunity

The organization is seeking a senior executive to lead all operations in markets where they sell their products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the FMCG or fast-paced sector.

  • Lead warehousing/distribution, supply chain and planning for the business.
  • Deliver excellence in customer service through coordination of end-to-end activities across the supply chain operation.
  • Develop and lead planning to optimize inventory and improve service levels.
  • Lead systems and process improvement to enhance the supply chain across the organization.
  • Responsible for DIFOT to all customers and consumers worldwide.
  • Optimize logistics function (warehouse and distribution) to reduce costs and improve service.
  • Engage and negotiate with third-party suppliers supporting product movement through the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a customer-centric, responsive, and efficient supply chain/operation (end-to-end).
  • Maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, IT, manufacturing, product development, finance, and administration.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key supply chain/operations partners to reduce costs and deliver maximum value.
  • Implement current and future strategic projects related to the supply chain.
  • Develop a strategic plan based on people and process capability, automation, continuous improvement, and engagement, delivering significant savings and improvements.

Requirements:

  • Senior executive leadership background, able to think strategically and deliver through people and process.
  • Tertiary qualification preferred.
  • Extensive experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG or similar fast-paced sectors.
  • Commercially astute, understanding financial reports, managing budgets, and making commercial decisions.
  • Collaborative style, inclusive when making decisions.
  • Strong communication, coaching, consultation, and negotiation skills, engaging and influencing internal stakeholders at senior executive level, line management, and operators.

  • Must be able to adapt their style depending on the audience.
