About the Role

As a Customer Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing data warehouse pipelines, managing data transformation processes, and consolidating customer information from various source systems.

This role requires collaboration with Commercial, Data & Analytics, and Business teams to design and develop data applications, models, and data marts. You will also gather requirements from various data sources to meet business needs and secure necessary data points.

The ideal candidate will have advanced SQL skills, experience with cloud-based data platforms, and strong understanding of data modeling principles. They should also be able to use Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages for automating tasks and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data warehouse pipelines, managing data transformation processes to consolidate customer information from various source systems.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Data & Analytics, and Business teams to design and develop data applications, models, and data marts.
  • Gather requirements from various data sources to meet business needs and secure necessary data points.
  • Develop and oversee robust data pipelines, ensuring proper processing and storage of customer data.

Requirements:

  • Advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP) and ability to leverage cloud-specific features effectively.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling principles, with experience designing data structures for analytics, marketing, and data warehousing.
  • Ability to use Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages for automating tasks and workflows.
