The Opportunity
This exciting role involves working closely with our bespoke silicone injection moulding machines to resolve issues on the line, prioritizing the needs of the business. Responsibilities include:
- Installing and setting up mould tools to ensure alignment and proper configuration of hydraulic, electrical, and cooling connections for efficient production and high-quality output
- Changing mould tools safely, preparing new moulds, and installing them with precision
- Configuring and adjusting moulding machines to required settings for each production run
- Monitoring and fine-tuning moulding settings to optimize production efficiency and product quality
- Conducting trials of new or modified mould tools to validate their performance
- Ensuring all moulding equipment is in good working condition and available for production
- Ensuring safe work practices throughout the moulding areas
- Collaborating with production teams to schedule maintenance activities

About You
We're looking for someone with prior experience in troubleshooting and working with moulding machines in a manufacturing environment. You'll need strong communication skills, proven experience in maintaining and repairing silicone injection moulding machines or similar equipment, and a strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. You'll also need to be able to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints, and have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
