About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer - Fintech to join our dynamic team at Talent Insights Group. As a key member of our analytics team, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into valuable insights using advanced analytics tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using DBT (Data Build Tool) to transform raw data into a structured format suitable for analysis.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to provide actionable insights through the creation of Looker dashboards and reports.
  • Data Modeling and Optimization: Implement data modeling best practices to ensure scalability, performance, and reusability of data pipelines. Optimize and troubleshoot existing data pipelines to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Documentation and Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain documentation related to data pipelines, data models, and data dictionaries. Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and monitoring processes.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
Requirements
  • Experience and Skills: Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role, preferably within the fintech industry. Hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for building and managing data pipelines. Proficiency in Snowflake for data warehousing and managing large-scale datasets would be highly advantageous.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications in DBT, Snowflake, or Looker are a plus.
