About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Crypto Recruit. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and deploying our company's data pipeline platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines to support our company's data-driven initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources and systems
  • Develop and maintain high-quality data models, data warehouses, and data storage solutions
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security through robust testing and validation processes
  • Participate in the development of technical documentation and contribute to open-source projects
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data storage principles
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java
  • Experience with distributed systems, data processing frameworks, and cloud-based technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with blockchain projects, cryptocurrency, or related technologies
  • Knowledge of data processing frameworks such as Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, Storm, or Zookeeper
  • Background in academic economics or finance
  • Familiarity with Cosmos, Tendermint, or Thorchain
  • Experience with distributed teams and remote work
