Fire Response Specialist

As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals and communities across Queensland. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to emergency situations, providing support and assistance as needed.
In addition to your response duties, you will also contribute to community education and outreach efforts, promoting safety and emergency preparedness through various activities and initiatives.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity, adhering to organizational policies and procedures at all times.
Key Requirements- A valid driver's license with manual transmission capability
- The ability to live or work within a reasonable distance of an auxiliary fire station
- Employer consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable)
Successful applicants will be required to commit to regular drill and training sessions, as well as ongoing skills acquisition and maintenance programs. You will also be expected to participate in incident reporting and general station administration, contributing to a safe and healthy work environment.
