Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to achieve goals and outcomes for children and young people.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of support workers to ensure they provide quality care and support.
  • Utilize advanced problem-solving skills to resolve complex situations and challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families.
  • Manage and develop a team within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Disability Services, Community Services, Children's Services, or a related field; or identify as Aboriginal and be willing to work towards a relevant qualification.
  • Proven experience supporting individuals with complex needs, behaviors of concern, and mental health concerns.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities, highly regarded.
  • Experience working with children or youth in a care or education setting, highly valued.
