Site-Based Shutdown Specialist

The primary objective of this position is to coordinate and manage the shutdown process for our operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience in site-based shutdowns, particularly in the resource sector.
">This role involves working closely with client representatives, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure a smooth shutdown process. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing shutdown schedules;
- Liaising with project managers and other team members to resolve any issues that may arise during the shutdown process;
- Maintaining open communication channels with all stakeholders involved in the shutdown.
A strong understanding of project management principles and practices is essential for this role. Additionally, having an engineering or trade background is highly regarded, as is experience with heavy mechanical or mobile plant equipment.
In terms of skills and qualifications, we are looking for individuals with advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and relevant software used in project management. Above all, a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment is paramount.
