
Compassionate Community Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of individuals in need.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work with clients in their own homes, providing personal care, domestic support, and social engagement. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation, as well as supporting clients with their life skills and independence.
Your Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Personal Care: Bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Domestic Support: Cleaning, laundry, meal prep, maintaining a safe home
- Social & Community Engagement: Outings, appointments, and connection
- Life Skills & Independence: Supporting with shopping, cooking
- Medication & Transport Assistance: Where suitably qualified
- Respite & Mental Health Support: Temporary care and behavioural assistance
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for an individual who is compassionate, client-centred, and has strong communication and resilience skills. You will require a QLD C/CA Driver's Licence + reliable vehicle, Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support or equivalent, and 12+ months of industry experience. Experience in personal care, manual handling, and behavioural support is also highly desirable.
